In a meeting held on May 6, both institutions reviewed progress and planned new joint actions to strengthen youth employability.
Within the framework of the collaboration agreement signed on December 6, 2023, between the Study, Training, and Employment Corporation of the Chamber of Production and Commerce of Concepción and ASMAR Talcahuano, a strategic meeting was held between representatives of both institutions. The aim was to evaluate the progress of the joint work and project new initiatives aimed at providing technical and professional training for students.
This agreement includes a series of concrete actions that seek to connect the educational world with the productive sector: professional internships, annual internships, educational visits, technical talks, and specialized consulting, involving students from the three industrial high schools of the Study Corporation. All of this has a clear objective: to provide students with relevant, up-to-date training that is consistent with the challenges of the industry.
During the event, the commitment to maintaining this active collaboration was reaffirmed, and the Study Corporation particularly valued the willingness and professionalism of ASMAR, one of the leading companies in the maritime-industrial sector in the country, for opening its doors and knowledge to the new generations.
